A Gala Celebration!
WHAT:
An (annual?) party to celebrate The Dio – the shows, the audience, and the people who make it happen. Semi-formal attire is required. The one-night-only evening will feature an all-you-care-to-enjoy dinner by Crystal Gardens Banquet Center, open bar (wine and beer only), performances from your favorite Dio performers, raffles and auctions to benefit The Muses (our non-profit board of directors), plus music and dancing to end the celebration!

WHY:
Ticket sales at The Dio cover only a fraction of the cost it takes to create one of our performances at The Dio. “The Room Where It Happens” will help to increase our yearly fundraising totals and give The Muses of Dionysus a new and fun way to support The Dio’s goal to bring high-quality, professional theatre to our stage by offering a one-night-a-year celebration to our incredible guests and artists.
Also, we love an excuse to gather our friends together to party!

To purchase tickets, click the "Purchase Tickets" button below. You can also call The Dio’s box office at (517) 672-6009, and we can help you reserve over the phone. Tickets are $175 per person and include everything mentioned above. We hope you’ll come ready to bid on fantastic auction items too!
BIG NEWS: Early Bird ticket pricing of $165 per person will be available until September 1 or until we sell 75 tickets, whichever comes first!

2:00pm to 2:30pm: Say Cheese and Cheers!
As you arrive, you can choose to have your photo taken in front of our Dio backdrop by Michael Bessom, Dio performer and owner of Michael Bessom Photography. After you’ve posed for the camera, check out the silent auction items you could win when you place a bid, proceeds of which support The Dio through The Muses! Then it’s time to head into The Celebrity Room to grab a beer or a glass of wine at the open bar. You’ll work the room as you chat with new friends and maybe a familiar Dio performer or two. The private patio is available throughout the event for smoking or just a breath of fresh air.
2:30 to 3:30pm: Let’s Eat!
Find your assigned table, then head to the buffet to enjoy a delicious meal prepared onsite by Crystal Gardens’ own Chef Ty Gerych. Still hungry? Head back to the buffet for round two!
3:00pm to 4:00pm: Let Us Entertain You
Performances by some of your favorite Dio performers take place on The Celebrity Room’s Dance Floor. Between performances, we’ll be auctioning off more exciting prizes to benefit The Dio.
4:00pm to 5:50pm: It’s Time to Party!!!
Live music by Accidentally Hip will have you tearing up the dance floor alongside your newest friends. By this time, you should be on a first name basis with your favorite Dio performers too. Don’t forget to grab another beverage at the open bar!
5:50pm to 6:00pm: A Final Toast and a Closing Number
We’ll drink to The Dio, our upcoming 14th Season, and to all of you for making our work possible. Then it’s one last song from Accidentally Hip and one last dance before we say goodnight.
