The charitable purpose of the Muses of Dionysus is to receive and administer funds and to attain community support to allow The Dionysus Theater and Performing Arts Academy to operate a community based arts institution, and to promote the advancement of the arts.  

Our organization will carry out our mission by providing funding to support renovations and repairs to theater facilities for the Dionysus Theater and Performing Arts Academy, as well as funding to support production costs of the Dionysus Theater and Performing Arts Academy including purchase of required show rights and purchase of materials and labor needed for theatrical set design and construction. We will also be helping the Dionysus Theater and Performing Arts Academy bring in professional talent to Livingston County by providing funding to support the travel and lodging expenses of the performers. 

Providing performing arts opportunities to the community’s youth is important to our organization therefore we will provide scholarship opportunities to high school and college students interested in performing arts training, and we will provide attendance opportunities to performances at the Dionysus Theater and Performing Arts Academy for disadvantaged youth.
